Just before a memorial for Kobe Bryant began, his widow, Vanessa Bryant filed a wrongful death suit in Los Angeles Superior Court against helicopter company.
“Defendant Island Express Helicopters authorized, directed and/or permitted with full knowledge that the subject helicopter was flying into unsafe weather conditions,” says in the complaint.
“Kobe Bryant was killed as a direct result of the negligent conduct of Zobayan for which Defendant Island Express Helicopters is vicariously liable in all respects” is one of the 27 claims listed in a suit.
Vanessa Bryant lawyers Brad Brian of Munger, Tolles & Olson and Robb & Robb’s Gary Robb, are seeking various demages.
